Holy shit I got my tax rebate and it was £400.00 so my pay cheque this week was the healthiest it's ever been =D. YAY. So being unemployed is less scary for a month or two. £200.00 straight in my savings account towards Wedding Fund. Bills/rent money set aside and some left over so I'm going to be really careful and make sure I don't spend it on stupid stuffs. Or anything at all really XD. My wage next Friday will also go straight in the bills/rent pot and then we'll go from there.

It means I can buy some crafty stuffs to keep me busy though. :) YAY.

Also yesterday Heather took me (courtesy of Graham) for an amazingly tasty lunch. Nom nom. Salvos - by far one of the best restaurants in Leeds. Today is booze-a-ma-hols for last day at work and next week is looking fun. Am going to enjoy my weekend and my time off and Maelstrom and try and keep my head up.

On an unrelated note - here are 100 facts about me which.. frankly are probably quite boring for you to read but certainly killed some time at work this morning!

1. How old will you be in five years? 29

2. Who did you spend at least two hours with today? Waz, though most of it was asleep – it’s only 8:55am

3. How tall are you? 5'5

4. What do you look forward to most in the next six weeks? Maelstrom ^-^

5. What’s the last movie you saw? At home was Moulin Rouge and at the cinema was X-Men First Class (and it was awesome =D)

6. Who was the last person you called? Lady at the archives in town

7. Who was the last person to text you? Heather, my boss

8. What was the last text message you received? She was texting to let me know she was on the way to pick me up. For the last time =(

9. Who was the last person to leave you a voicemail? I have no idea, I think it was Waz.

10. Do you prefer to call or text? Calling but texting on my phone is free so I text more.

11. What were you doing at 12am last night? Sleeping – aren’t I rock and roll?

12. Are your parents married/separated/divorced? Both are divorced from each other and remarried to other people.

13. When is the last time you saw your mom? Er… April, for her birthday. That’s really bad! I was sure I’d seen her since then. Need to book a visit in asap.

14. What color are your eyes? Blue

15. What time did you wake up today? 7:30am

16. What are you wearing right now? Black smart worklike trousers and a red jersey top with a cowl neck

17. What is your favorite Christmas song? Please come home for Christmas – oh Jon Bon.

18. Where is your favorite place to be? Near the sea =) Although the bath will do ;)

19. Where is your least favorite place to be? Job Centre – -_- Got that to look forward to, I guess.

20. Where would you go if you could go anywhere? Back to Japan … or possibly somewhere to see the Northern Lights ^-^

21. Where do you think you’ll be in 10 years? All being well, somewhere in Yorkshire still but happily married with kids, dogs, kitties and a big garden? When the hell did I become so ‘conventional’??

22. Do you tan or burn? I burn and then go back pale again mostly.

23. What did you fear was going to get you at night as a child? Snakes under the bed. Especially after I hallucinated snakes once when I was really poorly.

24. What was the last thing that really made you laugh? Waz less than craftily eating the last of some of my birthday chocolate and then trying to lie about it. The laughing came in when I playfully and very loudly berated him for it and he went all pink with shame and we ended up giggling XD

25. How many TVs do you have in your house? – Just the one – but it’s fuck-off massive =D

26. How big is your bed? Er.. double?

28. Do you sleep with or without clothes on? Depends how cold it is!

29. What color are your sheets? Most of them are cream and blue

30. How many pillows do you sleep with? 2

31. What is your favorite season? Autumn

32. What do you like about fall? Crunchy leaves, Halloween, the smell of wood smoke, being able to eat wintery foods, stews and tasty things.

33. What do you like about winter? Snow! And Christmas and New Years, present giving and spoiling those I love and cooking many many tasty things and snuggling in out of the cold.

34. What do you like about the summer? Beer gardens and summer LARP and my birthday and BBQs

35. What do you like about spring? Daffodils and spring lambs

36. How many states/provinces have you lived in? Err.. If we turn this into English counties about 6, 8 if you count the two places I lived abroad.

37. What cities/towns have you lived in? Bath, Carlisle, Aberdeen, Darlington, Bingham, Picton, Flintham, Leeds, Nagoya

38. Do you prefer shoes, socks, or bare feet? Sock =)

39. Are you a social person? Yep – I love being around people

40. What was the last thing you ate? Muesli with tasty hazelnut yogurt

41. What is your favorite restaurant? Hrm dunno as I can pick one really. Any that serves Japanese gets a gold star though.

42. What is your favorite ice cream? Ben and Jerry’s Cherry Garcia

43. What is your favorite dessert? A really good cheese cake

44. What is your favorite kind of soup? Miso

45. What kind of jelly do you like on your PB & J sandwich? Raspberry

46. Do you like Chinese food? Mmmm… Chinese food.

47. Do you like coffee? Yep. Particularly the hazelnut latte.

48. How many glasses of water, a day, do you drink on average? At work I drink about a litre – cause I have a bottle that’s 750ml and I generally have one or two more glasses after that. At home I’m not as good but I reckon I average just over a litre plus tea =D

49. What do you drink in the morning? First thing is water and then a few hours after I’m up I’ll have a cuppa tea.

50. What non-banking related card in your wallet is the most valuable to you? Nectar card =D Yeah baby. Or my library card.

51. Do you sleep on a certain side of the bed? Yep I’m generally on the right side these days.

52. Do you know how to play poker? Cursively.

53. Do you like to cuddle? ALWAYS

54. Have you ever been to Canada? Nope, I’d like to though =)

55. Do you have an addictive personality? Hrm yes and no. I do get pretty hooked on things but I have the will power to stop as well so… Some of both?

56. Do you eat out or at home more often? Home although we do eat out eating at home is muuuuuch more economical so out is for nice treats.

57. What do you miss about Pre-School, if anything? Pre-school? Finger painting and sand castles? I dunno I don’t really remember that far back and honestly I have finger painted and made sand castles since!

58. Do you know anyone with the same birthday as you? Not off the top of my head but I’m sure there is someone.

59. Do you want kids? One day soon I hope

60. Do you speak any other languages? Yup. Japanese with ever-decreasing fluency and a smattering of French.

61. Have you ever gotten stitches? Nope

62. Have you ever ridden in an ambulance? Nope.

63. Do you prefer an ocean or a pool? BOTH

64. Do you prefer a window seat or an aisle seat? Window seat, always.

65. Do you know how to dance? Hrm, I know –how- to… I’m not very good! =D

66. What is your favorite thing to spend money on? Food, books, clothes, craft supplies, going out. Whatever really!

67. Do you wear American Eagle Shirts? Say what now?

68. What is your favorite TV show? Currently it’s Camelot. Hoh man Joseph Fiennes as machievellian Merlin and Eva Green as crazy-bitch Morgan and their sickening sexual tension is making my life complete these days.

69. Can you roll your tongue? Noooope.

70. Who is the funniest person you know? Hrm…nobody is standing out really, a lot of my friends are quick to make me laugh. I guess I’m pretty lucky.

71. Do you sleep with stuffed animals? Not these days. I got a man-pillow which whilst sometimes snoring, is much cosier.

72. What is the main ring tone on your phone? The most annoying trilling awfulness I can find because otherwise I ignore it.

73. Do you still have clothes from when you were little? No but I have the blanket I was christened in.

74. What red object is closest to you right now? My glasses!

75. Do you turn off the water while you brush your teeth? Yup. On to rinse the brush, off to brush, on to swill my mouth out and off.

 

76. Do you sleep with your closet doors open or closed? Closed. I feel deeply uncomfortable if drawers or cupboards are left open. It’s one of my ‘things’

77. Would you rather be attacked by a big bear or a swarm of bees? One big bear… at least you stand a small chance of scaring the bear off. Bees don’t stop so easily.

78. Do you flirt a lot? Hrm… I guess so?

79. What do you dip a chicken nugget in? Mayo

80. What is your favorite food? I loves me some pizza.

81. Can you change a lightbulb? Yep

82. Have you ever gotten Grounded? Several times in my early teens but not for long or for anything serious.

83. Have you ever ran out of money? Constantly -_-‘

84. What is your usual bedtime? About 11pm

85. What was the last book you read? A crappy book of short horror stories. It was crappy.

86. Do you read the newspaper? I read the BBC website for the news but seldom an actual newspaper.

87. Do you have any magazine subscriptions? Nope.

89. Do you watch Disney? As in the Disney channel? Nah.

90. Do you dance in public? Sure! I’m usually pretty quick on the dancefloor.

91. What radio station did you last listen to? Radio 1

92. Who is in the picture frame closest to you? There are no photos here at work =( But I have a photo of Waz and I in my purse.

93. What was the last note you scribbled on a piece of paper? “JDCFs -> end of Sept” Ahh, work notes. Cryptic.

94. What is your favorite candle scent? Jasmine.

95. What is your favorite board game? Settlers ^-^

97. When was the last time you attended church? I think I was about 10? 10 or 11 anywho.

98. Who was your favourite teacher in previous years? At uni it was probably Dr Irena Hayter. She was an inspiring and crazy lady teaching my favourite subject.

99. What is the longest you have ever camped out in a tent? About a week… We may have done a fortnight when I was young but I don’t think so. I camp regularly and love it! =)

100. Who was the last person to do something extra special for you? I was thoroughly spoilt last weekend by friends and Wazlington ^-^ I won’t go through it all again.

Yep three happy things :) And you're bang on the nail with the dependent on the growth of said fund idea. We'd love for it to be next November but Life keeps getting in the way. Between job losses, house moving and car troubles we've had a really rough few months! So we're saving and when we have the best part of our budget put away we'll start booking things I think. I am tempted to buy my wedding dress as I currently have enough.. But I think it would sit in it's gorgeous box mocking me for months/years until the wedding and ultimately make me sad.
